The Rabbit Hole

I’m taking a trip down the rabbit hole
to see how far down it goes
I’m taking a trip down the rabbit hole
to see all its pleasures and woes

It’s deep and dark and foreboding
and nothing quite makes sense
Each corner, I don’t know what it’s holding
and it surely can make one tense

But I have my mind and my body
And these have never been shoddy
Although not always standing tall
And somewhat bruised by the slope

I don’t want you to ever worry
And, surely, ever to see you sorry
I will never get lost and fall

For, you see, I brought rope
